Trekking through rice fields on my last weekend in Bali was absolutely amazing! These aren't the famous rice terraces of Tegallalang, but random old rice fields off the side of the road about 15 minutes outside of Canggu. They're worked by regular old farmers, and we were the only ones there. Plus, having a local guide to explain everything meant we learned SO much about how rice is planted and grown, as well as the life of rice farmers in Bali.
